Alcohol Training Day, LLC is owned and operated by Northwest Indiana resident Ron Szumelda who is an Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission (ATC) Approved Trainer for the state-mandated alcohol server training program. Ron holds a degree in education and has 30 years of bartending experience at 22 different venues including nightclubs, sports bars, banquet halls, and restaurants.

The purpose of Alcohol Training Day, LLC is to certify Indiana alcoholic beverage servers in accordance with Indiana State Law (I.C. 7.1-3-1.5-13 b) . This training is mandatory and, once certification is complete, is valid for 3 years. Servers employed after January 1, 2011 must complete the course within 120 days after employment.

Course Content

This course will school servers on Indiana's alcohol laws, the effects of alcohol on human behavior, recognizing fake identification, and other alcohol-related issues.
